Oolong Tea

Kiddo Bro invited me and Al to join him and our parents for a high tea session at Park Hotel at Beach Road. Although I am not high tea person but I would not say no to spend some time together with the family.

The restaurant is Si Chuan Do Hua within Park Royal Hotel at Beach Road and it was pretty quiet with only about 4 tables occupied including ourselves. I understand from the brother that the restaurant update their high tea menu quite frequently [but this time round, there is also an increase in the price (was previously S$20++, now it is S$28++)].  My parents liked what was served but I only liked half the items from the menu such as the steamed prawn dumpling with chives, minced meat dumpling in sour and superior stock, deep fried prawn dumpling with mayonnaise, the homemade bean curd with wolfberry and both the tea that were served.  Overall, its still a pass for the set menu.

Although we always have dinner on sunday but I like it when I have my parents’ full attention that day (minus the nagging).
